In this article, you'll learn what a workspace is and how it makes everyday work in ALLMEDIA more efficient. You will learn how workspaces are structured, how to switch between them and how content, channels and rights are organized. Understanding Workspaces helps you to separate projects cleanly, structure teams in a targeted manner and securely manage access rights.
Understanding & Using Workspaces
🧭 What is a workspace?
A Workspace Is a closed workspace within ALLMEDIA in which teams create, manage and publish content together.
Each workspace has:
- Own content & channels
- Own Social Media Connections & Brand Voices
- Own Team Members with Roles & Rights
This ensures clarity and control — especially when it comes to several departments, projects or customers.
🔄 Switch between workspaces
- In the top-right menu, click on your current workspace name.
- Select the desired workspace from the drop-down.
- The interface adapts automatically — only the content and settings of the selected workspace are displayed.
- Your last selected workspace is saved and automatically opened the next time you log in.
➕ Create a new workspace
(Requires activated premium feature)
- Go to Workspaces > Manage.
- Click on “Create a new workspace”.
- Enter a name & description — you'll automatically become an admin of this workspace.
- Invite team members and assign roles to them.
🛡️ Personal workspace
Every user always has one private workspace (“Personnel”) who is only visible to her/him. Perfect for individual projects or initial content.
🔒 Don't see any workspaces or can't create any?
Make sure that the feature in your Subscription activated Is. Only premium tenants have access to this feature.
🔁 Having trouble moving between workspaces?
Just log out and log in again — the last active workspace is saved, but you can switch anytime.
